Holiday Leftovers What To Do?
What did you make with your Vacation Leftovers? Although we were invited to my ses house for Thanksgiving, we always cook a repast for the home. The usual turkey, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, twine edible bean casserole, mashed potatoes, leafy vegetable and all of the other touches.
So you are wondering why we would be authorship such as a web page and why wasn't it written before Thanksgiving. Well all good thoughts don't always come up at the right time. We were thinking of all the tender loving care (Tender Loving Care) that was set into the assortment of dishes and then the visible light bulb went on.
Now you cognize as Food Storage advocates, we took some remnants on Friday and set them in air tight deepfreeze storage containers for a delightful repast on a future date.
Some remnants are set into containers and placed into the refrigerator. But there still is just to much nutrient leftover. Eventually some nutrient will have got to be thrown away (something I detest to even speak about).
For Every Food Storage Problem there is a Solution
The solution and my new Vacation Leftover declaration is to take these twenty-four hours old leftovers, reheat them and do a lower limit of 10 plates (paper) set them into an insulated ice chest and take a ride.
You inquire a drive to where? Well Iodine unrecorded in Philadelphia,PA and I would sit to Center City (downtown) where there are a figure of stateless and less fortunate people who would bask and demand a good meal.
We personally don't have got a batch but why allow good nutrient travel to blow if it can be shared. We always speak about how we can assist others, it's easy to do a paysheet tax deduction to a charity by filling out a word form at the job. It's harder to acquire your butt end out of the reclining chair or comfy couch and do an attempt to convey a smiling on the human face of others. So....
Make a difference in people life
Remember be Thankful,Be Grateful, and be a Blessing to person Less Fortunate.
It's Better to Give than to Receive.
